The Countdown: 3 Days till Geelong Ironman 70.304 Feb
Well it’s 3 days before the last race of Australian 70.3 National series and World Triathlon Corp 70.3 in Geelong. I’m excited and nervous about the race; some of the world’s best athletes are on the start list, including world champion Lisbeth Kristianson, world record holder Yvonne WankKlerken, and 2008 world #2 Sam Warriner.
I’m ready to take on the girls – rain, hail or shine – thanks to Brett and my big 10 week block of solid training. The race will be a tough one to win, and I’m now racing for myself and my new Team TBB. So you can bet I’ll be racing to bring home a podium!
